Israeli Airstrike Kills Family of Three in Gaza
Local sources said an Israeli drone struck an apartment building in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza at dawn, firing at least one missile that triggered a large explosion and subsequent fire. Palestinian medical sources told media that three additional people sustained injuries of varying severity and were transported to hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident the same morning, a Palestinian fisherman suffered moderate wounds after Israeli naval forces opened fire off the Gaza coast, according to the city's fishermen's committees.
The Israeli army also conducted deliberate demolition operations against buildings and facilities within its controlled zones east of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and Khan Younis in the south.
Further displacement was reported in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, where eyewitnesses said the Israeli military destroyed a residential structure after issuing telephone warnings ordering civilians to evacuate an entire residential block — prompting a mass flight of families from the area.
The incidents fit an emerging pattern. In recent days, the Israeli army has increasingly issued evacuation orders for residential blocks across various parts of the Gaza Strip, followed by the bombing and demolition of the buildings in question. The military has offered no public comment on the operations.
