Turkish Red Crescent Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Gaza
The vessel transported approximately 3,300 tons of aid, including 175,000 food parcels, essential food items, personal care products, clothing, shelter materials, water, and other necessities. Upon arrival at El Arish, the materials were received and coordinated with the Egyptian Red Crescent for transfer into Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, the Turkish Red Crescent has maintained a steady flow of assistance to Gaza through the Goodness Ship program, working closely with public institutions and private sector partners to strengthen its humanitarian network.
Following the reopening of the Rafah crossing on February 2, Türkiye has accelerated its relief efforts, planning to send an initial 20,000 containers of aid to the region to support communities affected by the ongoing crisis.
